Shore Soup Project is
a group of Rockaway residents and allies who have been serving free hot soup door to door in Rockaway since Hurricane Sandy! We serve over 600 meals a day, 5 days a week!
After beginning the operation in Robyn and Lillian’s apt ( where they had no heat, electricity or hot water) now after 5 weeks, have moved into the Kitchen of Rockaway Taco and are collaborating with Veggie Island to use their store front for service. Come eat here and pay what you want, or donate at the benefit to keep this solidarity work going!

THURSDAY NOV 8 & TUESDAY NOV 13 7-8pm “Operation Muck Out” provided by World Cares Center* — will take place here at our Tasting Room will be Team Leaders Training for those who want to get pointers on how to prepare and lead a team to help homeowners clean up, and from 8-9pm we’ll provide basic safety information and other practical information to prepare you to aid in clean up. RSVP to Carla at cvilla@brooklynbrewery.com. We hope to have information on our first volunteer excursion in the next few days.

MONDAY NOV 26 SMASH Surf Productions/Sundown Ski shop Hosting a NY Surf Movie Night. All films are locally made and produced. One film is all about the history of Rockaway Beach. November 26th, 7:30PM at Anthology Film Archives.
