NY Distilling Company has been collecting meals from restaurants in Brooklyn and Manhattan and distributing them, through the Mayor’s Office, to sights in Red Hook, the Rockaways and Staten Island.
They are asking restaurants to supply food for 100 meals and collect food by 1pm each day. Food is then trucked out to mobile kitchens as well as schools that have been converted to shelters/community centers. Contact Allen Katz allen@nydistilling.com if you would like to help with distributions or donate food.
